A jury convicted the defendant, F.B.A.,1 of aggravated rape, a violation of La.R.S. 14:42, and aggravated incest, a violation of La.R.S. 14:78.1. Thereafter, the trial court sentenced him to serve life imprisonment at hard labor without benefit of probation, parole, or suspension of sentence on the aggravated rape conviction and to serve fifteen years at hard labor without the benefit of probation, parole, or suspension of sentence...
