The defendant, Jose A. Lopez, appeals from his conviction by a jury of the voluntary manslaughter of one Rafael Graciano.1 Mr. Lopez contends that the trial justice violated his constitutional rights when he refused to permit defense counsel to cross-examine the decedent's brother, Richard Susana, regarding the decedent's alleged involvement in drug dealing and his alleged past incarceration...
