The defendant was convicted of operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated ("DWI"), fourth offense. He was sentenced to twelve years' imprisonment at hard labor, with all but sixty days suspended, placed on probation for five years with conditions, and ordered to pay a $5,000 fine and costs.
