On December 2, 1998, the State charged the defendant, Oliver Jarreau, with one count of simple possession of cocaine. At his arraignment on December 7, he pled not guilty. On July 22, 1999, a six-person jury found him guilty as charged. On January 19, 2000, the court denied his motion to quash the multiple bill, found him to be a third offender...
