Appellant Ray Palma appeals his conviction and sentence for the possession of a firearm and ammunition after being convicted of a felony, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(1). On appeal, he raises two issues: (1) whether the district court erred in refusing to instruct the jury on a "temporary, innocent possession defense," and (2) whether Appellant is entitled to a new trial due to certain allegedly prejudicial remarks that the trial judge directed...
