The defendant was charged with felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile in violation of La. R.S. 14:80. The jury convicted him as charged and he was sentenced to five years' imprisonment at hard labor with credit for time served. The trial court denied defendant's motions for a post-verdict judgment of acquittal and reconsideration of sentence. The defendant now appeals his conviction and sentence.
