Following a jury trial, defendant Nicholas Meeks was convicted of armed robbery and aggravated unlawful restraint and sentenced to concurrent, respective prison terms of 12 years and 3 years. On appeal, defendant contends that the prosecutor misstated the law and diminished the State's burden of proof during closing argument.
