Following a jury trial, Defendant, Kevin Ware, was found guilty of second degree murder, in violation of La.R.S. 14:30.1. Following the denial of his motions for post-judgment verdict of acquittal and for new trial, Defendant was sentenced to life in prison without the benefit of probation, parole, or suspension of sentence.
