This is a direct appeal from the imposition of a sentence of death by the Court of Common Pleas of Berks County.1 Following a jury trial in 2000, Richard Boxley ("Appellant") was convicted of first degree murder and related offenses, arising from his 1997 shooting of Jason Bolton on a street in Reading, Pennsylvania.
