This case involves a dispute between a franchisor and its franchisee. Plaintiff CITGO Petroleum Corporation had a gasoline distributor franchise agreement with defendant Ranger Enterprises. Things went well for the first 15 years. Defendant expanded from four to 39 franchised locations and increased its purchases from plaintiff commensurately.
