Defendant Dwayne Chaney was charged in a six-count indictment with two counts of unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon (720 ILCS 5/24-1.1 (West 2004)) and four counts of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon (720 ILCS 5/24-1.6 (West 2004)).
