Harminder Singh was convicted on several counts related to his role in a human smuggling conspiracy. This appeal raises two issues with regard to Singh's conviction for bringing an alien to the United States for the purposes of financial gain. See 8 U.S.C. § 1324(a)(2)(B)(ii).
