The defendants, Christopher Phillips, the Christopher Trust and Fred Jackson Haberle, appeal a judgment finding that they agreed, through an exchange of emails with the plaintiffs' attorney, to compromise a lawsuit in which the plaintiffs, Martha Melinda Jones Klebanoff and Carla Louise Jones, sought a declaration that they owned an undivided interest in a mineral lease.
