Jason Strong filed a petition for a writ of habeas corpus under 28 U.S.C. § 2254 and also moved to stay the proceedings while he pursues a not-yet-filed second post-conviction petition in state court. Respondent Don Hulick, warden of the Menard Correctional Center, where Strong is incarcerated, has objected to Strong's motion to stay and has asked the Court to dismiss his petition...
