The defendant, Trina Mobley, was convicted in a bench trial in the circuit court of Cook County, of one count of residential burglary. Prior to her sentencing and at her request, the court ordered a Treatment Alternatives for Safe Communities (TASC) evaluation. Despite being clinically acceptable for TASC, the judge found that the defendant was statutorily ineligible...
