Steve Morgan filed a motion to suppress and motion in limine relating to the warrantless search of his residence and surrounding curtilage and the seizure of dogs from his property. Following an evidentiary hearing, the trial court denied the motions, and Morgan subsequently was convicted of eight counts of cruelty to animals: Morgan appealed, and in Morgan v. State, 285 Ga.App. 254, 255-259(1), 645 S.E.2d 745
