McLACHLAN, J.

The plaintiff, David Page, appeals from the judgment of the trial court dismissing his action against the defendant, the state marshal commission1 (commission). The plaintiff claims that the court improperly concluded, on the basis of the doctrine of sovereign immunity, that it lacked subject matter jurisdiction to entertain his action. We affirm the judgment of the trial court.
