In 2000, an Illinois jury convicted Audrey A. Klimawicze ("Klimawicze") on charges of first degree murder, armed robbery, and home invasion. The trial judge sentenced Klimawicze to ninety-two years imprisonment on the murder charge and concurrent thirty-year terms on the armed robbery and home invasion charges.
