Appellant Sonny Snipe1 challenges his conviction and sentence for possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 922(k) and 18 U.S.C. § 924(a)(1)(B). Snipe's conviction followed a warrantless entry by police, who were responding to an emergency call. During the course of their search, police saw drugs in plain view.
