James Monahan appeals from the district court's order dismissing his application for post-conviction relief after an evidentiary hearing. For the reasons set forth below, we affirm.

In May 2000, Monahan pled guilty to aggravated battery. I.C. §§ 18-903(b), 18-907(a). The district court sentenced Monahan to a unified term of fifteen years, with a minimum period of confinement of seven years...
