Ahmednur Isse, a citizen and national of Somalia, fled Somalia in 1996 and lived in Kenyan refugee camps for some years until he entered the United States illegally, leaving his wife and three children in Kenya. He applied for asylum, withholding of removal, and relief under the Convention Against Torture (CAT).
