The sole issue to be addressed in this appeal is what method under N.C. Gen.Stat. § 97-2(5) should be used to calculate a public school employee's "average weekly wages" for the payment of workers' compensation benefits. Defendant contends the Full Commission erred in calculating Plaintiff's average weekly wages under N.C. Gen.Stat. § 97-2(5).
