Thomas Daniel Stachowiak appeals his conviction for possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine in violation of 21 U.S.C. §§ 841(a)(1) and 841(b)(1)(B). A limited protective search of his vehicle during a traffic stop led to a police officer's discovery and seizure of methamphetamine and a scale.
