In the 1970s, John O'Brien purchased two undeveloped parcels with a combined size exceeding 150 acres in the Town of Chenango, Broome County and, in 1998, he transferred this property to respondent, a limited liability company of which he was the sole owner. The address for respondent's tax bill was changed in 2000 from O'Brien's business address at One Academic Drive in the City of Binghamton, Broome County...
