¶ 1. Jimi Levar Watts was indicted on January 30, 2006, by a grand jury in George County, Mississippi, for possession of a controlled substance. After being convicted by a jury on October 19, 2006, Watts was sentenced to twenty-five years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections and ordered to pay a fine of $50,000, as well as lab fees and court costs. He now appeals that verdict and raises two issues for our consideration...
