I. INTRODUCTION

This appeal arises from a car accident on Lake Otis Parkway in Anchorage in which Dora Noffke's vehicle struck a car driven by Jose Perez. A jury awarded Jose Perez $24,000 and passenger Neyda Perez $54,000 for past and future damages, and Dora Noffke appeals several decisions of the superior court.
