Jeffery James Mezick was convicted by a Cobb County jury of criminal trespass, burglary, criminal attempt to commit theft by taking, and possession of tools for the commission of a crime, based on evidence that he and his co-defendant, Adam N. Agnese, cut the lock off the gate to the fenced premises of Agnese's employer, Reliable Hydraulics, and attempted to steal an air compressor from a storage shed.
