On August 30, 2006, the Defendant, Cleveland Mayes, Jr., was charged by bill of information with possession of marijuana in violation of La.R.S. 40:966(E)(2), second offense. Thereafter, on September 19, 2006, the Defendant pled guilty to said offense. On September 24, 2007, the Defendant was sentenced to 48 months at hard labor, with the first 24 months suspended, and with credit for time served.
