¶ 1. On April 14, 2004, David Sidney Nichols pleaded guilty in the Circuit Court of Tate County to two counts of murder. Nichols was sentenced to serve two concurrent life sentences in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections. On March 9, 2007, Nichols filed a motion for post-conviction relief.
