Eunice Gillens was fatally shot in the chest by her live-in boyfriend, defendant George Jenewicz. Jenewicz admitted that he shot Gillens, but claimed that he acted in self-defense. At his trial, Jenewicz testified to the violence that existed in their home and, in particular, about Gillens's rages and physical violence toward him, in order to explain his actions when Gillens was shot. However, Jenewicz's credibility was subjected to serious attack at trial...
