Defendant, Frank R. Vinyard, Jr., was employed as the facilities engineer at Guide Corporation's Monroe headlight production plant for approximately six years. His convictions and sentences arise out of a common scheme involving numerous bogus or sham purchases defendant facilitated on behalf of his employer from a corporation set up by defendant.
