In 2005, petitioner pleaded guilty to grand larceny in the second degree and scheme to defraud in the first degree and was sentenced to concurrent prison terms of 2 to 6 years and 1 1/3 to 4 years, respectively. Petitioner made his initial appearance before the Board of Parole in May 2006. The Board denied his request for parole release and ordered him held for an additional 24 months. Petitioner filed an administrative appeal and then commenced this CPLR article 78 proceeding...
