This dispute concerns the formation of a contract between two admitted good friends. Because of the troubled construction business of the defendant, the plaintiff allegedly entered an oral one-year consultant agreement with the defendant for $37,200. After reviewing the parties' dealings and relationship, the trial court determined that the defendant never accepted the offered services of the plaintiff, and in the absence of a clear meeting of the minds...
