Defendant/appellant, Vawn Borden ("Borden"), was charged with aggravated rape of a "known juvenile," a violation of LSA-R.S. 14:42, and indecent behavior with a "known juvenile," LSA-R.S. 14:81. The victims' mother, J.M., was charged in both counts as a co-defendant, but this appeal involves only Borden. Prior to trial, Borden filed two motions to quash the indictment with respect to the aggravated rape charge, along with a motion to suppress...
