Gary Edward Close and his wife, Malinda Close, were indicted for conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine, 21 U.S.C. §§ 846 & 841(b)(1)(A), possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, 21 U.S.C. § 841(a)(1) & (b)(1)(C), and possession of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking, 18 U.S.C. § 924(c)(1)(A). Malinda Close pled guilty to the conspiracy count and was sentenced according to a plea agreement...
