An order of protection was issued against defendant in favor of the victim, the mother of two of defendant's children,1 on April 25, 2006 and was served on defendant in court that day. The order of protection required defendant to stay away from the victim including, but not limited to, her place of employment. The order expired on May 30, 2006. On May 7, 2006, defendant went with his wife (then girlfriend) and the two children...
