On February 15, 2006, the Defendant, Clinton B. Schneider, Jr., was charged by bill of information with dogfighting, in violation of La.R.S. 14:102.5. The Defendant entered a plea of not guilty on March 15, 2006.

A motion to suppress was filed on June 26, 2006, and denied at a hearing held on June 28, 2006. The Defendant filed a "Notice of Intent to Apply for Writ" seeking review of the trial court's denial of his motion to suppress on July 27...
