GASKINS, J.

The defendant, Larry D. Jones, was initially charged with five counts of attempted first degree murder; count four was later amended to a charge of aggravated criminal damage to property. A jury convicted him of four counts of attempted first degree murder and acquitted him on the aggravated criminal damage to property charge. The trial court sentenced the defendant to serve the maximum sentence of 50 years in prison at hard labor without benefit of parole...
