Joshua Bruce Vicol was convicted of one count of kidnaping in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1201(a)(1) and sentenced to 188 months in prison. The government appeals the sentence imposed by the district court, arguing that the sentencing guidelines range was improperly calculated. According to the government, this error seriously affected the sentence and constitutes reversible error. We agree with the government...
