On February 13, 2003, defendant Melody Bruce (hereinafter defendant) performed a surgical procedure to remove a mass from the left ovary of plaintiff Mechal Cellupica (hereinafter plaintiff). After the procedure, plaintiff was told both of her ovaries were removed. Plaintiff saw defendant for a post-surgical follow-up appointment on March 12, 2003 and continued to treat with defendant for post-surgical incision issues and complaints of left side pain...
