¶ 1 Although Dean Richard's defense was that he thought he had legally shot and killed a three point buck deer, a jury, without making a separate death finding, decided he illegally shot a two point buck and found him guilty of second degree unlawful hunting of big game, a gross misdemeanor under RCW 77.15.410(1).
