Following a jury trial, Joseph Eureako Allen was convicted of intentionally escaping from the lawful custody of the Chatham County detention center after having been previously convicted of a felony. OCGA § 16-10-52(a). Allen claims that the trial court erred in (i) denying his motion in limine to prevent the State from mentioning the nature of his prior felony convictions; (ii) allowing the State to introduce certified copies of additional convictions...
