The defendant, Larry Hebert, was charged by grand jury indictment with one count of second degree murder, a violation of La. R.S. 14:30.1. He pled not guilty. He moved to suppress all confessions or inculpatory statements, but the motion was denied. He waived his right to jury trial and, following a bench trial, was found guilty as charged.
