Following a jury trial, Timmy Elijah Roach (appellant) was found guilty of felony obstruction of justice, in violation of Code § 18.2-460(C). He contends his prosecution for that offense violated Code § 19.2-294's prohibition against successive prosecutions and that his conviction and punishment for that offense constituted double jeopardy, in violation of the Fifth Amendment to the United States Constitution and Article I, Section 8...
