¶ 1 A plaintiff may serve a defendant corporation by delivering a summons and complaint to the corporation's registered agent or the registered agent's secretary or office assistant. The defendant corporation here was registered but no longer active. The plaintiffs served a "practice manager" of a nonparty corporation where the defendant corporation's registered agent now worked.
