SUMMARY OF THE CASE

¶ 1. On July 25, 2006, a jury sitting before the Coahoma County Circuit Court found James Brownlee guilty of two counts of armed robbery. The jury did not recommend a life sentence. Accordingly, the circuit court sentenced Brownlee to two concurrent sentences of fifteen years with eight years suspended and seven years to serve.
