The Minnesota Attorney General (the state) served a civil investigative demand on GlaxoSmithKline plc (GSK), requesting certain documents. GSK complied but designated many of the documents as confidential, precluding release of those documents to the public. The state filed a motion in Hennepin County District Court challenging the confidentiality designation on some of those documents. The district court denied the state...
