Plaintiff, Brenda Schwartz, commenced the instant action, pursuant to the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA), 29 U.S.G. Sec. 1001 et seq., claiming that she was wrongfully denied short term disability ("STD") benefits. Defendants, Citizens Financial Group, Inc. (Citizens) and Liberty Life Assurance Company of Boston (Liberty)
