The defendant, Christopher Martin, was convicted of attempted simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling. He was sentenced to six years imprisonment. He is now appealing both his conviction and his sentence.

STATEMENT OF THE CASE

Mr. Martin was charged with one count of simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling in November of 2005. He pled not guilty at his arraignment in December of that year. A year later he was tried...
