Plaintiff Terry L. Brindle (hereinafter plaintiff), a patient of defendant Susan K. Soni, a gynecologist, was diagnosed with breast cancer in May 1999. After surgery, radiation and chemotherapy, she continued treatments with Soni and defendant Elizabeth Valentine, an oncologist.
